Study UK Agent Workshop
EThames Graduate School hosted a Study UK Workshop at
their Canary Wharf Campus on 28th May 2010. Sue Hindley, Chair
of Study UK, gave a welcome address to 15 agents from Latin
America. The agents then had the opportunity to meet and talk with
representatives from 12 member Colleges of Study UK..
There were breaks for refreshments and lunch, where agents and educators
could mingle more and get to know each other better.
Feedback from members and agents alike was very positive. One
member commented that the workshop was "a cost effective way to get to know a
good selection of quality agents from South America", while an agent from
Brazil said, "My opinion is that all schools and contacts were very important.
I can use all of them in different cases and from each school I learnt a lot."
Study UK thanked EThames Graduate School for hosting the
workshop at their College, and for providing the attendees with refreshments
and lunch. Study UK hope to hold another agent workshop in October for agents
from central, southern and eastern Europe, and will be sending details about
this to members shortly.
